September 8th 6.30pm Sydney time.
There has been great interest in the underlying assumptions of the "Doherty Model" we are lucky to have one of the leads on this work, Dr James McCaw, discuss and respond to questions tonight on the topic: Infectious disease models to support COVID-19 planning and response.
In Australia, model-based analyses are routinely used to monitor the unfolding pandemic. Models are also used for strategic planning purposes. Prof James McCaw co-leads a nation-wide consortium providing support and advice to multiple-levels of government. He sits on the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee as an expert advisor to the Commonwealth and states and territories.
